Frequently Asked
Questions
What is concrete-lifting and leveling?
Many times after concrete has been poured to create a driveway,
sidewalk, porch, step, or any other concrete surface,
it may unevenly settle to create a variety of problems.
This settling can result in drainage problems, safety
hazards, and unsightly appearances, among other things.
B-Level's unique-lifting and-leveling method makes a permanent
repair by lifting the concrete to its original level. B-Level's
experienced craftsmen drill holes in the concrete area
that needs repaired. With B-Level's specially designed
equipment, a craftsman infuses a new base under the concrete
slab to raise it to the customers desired level. Within
hours customers can make use of the area.
Why should I use this method as opposed to pouring new
concrete?
B-Level machines are designed to quickly and effectively
repair most residential and commercial concrete areas at
a fraction of the cost and labor time it takes to replace
existing concrete. Many times the repair results in a more
stable area than total replacement.
Does B-Level provide its services year-round?
Yes. B-Level lifts and levels concrete, repairs foundations
and stabilize basements, through the months of March
to December. (weather permitting) Throughout the winter
months, they provide free quotes and book jobs for their
following season.
Where does B-Level provide its lifting and leveling services?
B-Level provides residential services in greater Central
Ohio, greater Cleveland, Ohio and greater Atlanta, Georgia.
Commercial and industrial work can be covered in the
Eastern United States.
How much does it cost?
B-Level provides free quotes to all residential homeowners
who are considering repairing their sunken concrete.
The price varies depending upon the area that needs repaired
and how many inches the concrete has sunk from its original
state. All work is guaranteed from re-sinking up to one
year the concrete area was repaired.
Can I make use of the repaired area right away?
Within hours, customers can make use of the area that was
repaired and used it for pedestrian traffic. A four-day
cure time is necessary for automobiles and heavy equipment.
Do you warrant your work?
All lifting and leveling work has a one-year warranty.
Why does your warranty last for one year?
If a job fails that B-Level performs, it is due to the
soil settling. (This is not covered under most company’s
warranties) If soil settles after a job, it will fail
within a year. B-Level material has been tested at The
Ohio State University. Testing after nine years has shown
that the material used by B-Level, when used properly,
does not break down.
How long will the repair last?
This method of repair has been used for years in the commercial
and industrial industries. Not until B-Level has been
selling this more modern equipment has this service been
made popular in the residential sector. If the ground
is left undisturbed, you can expect that our method will
last as long as your concrete.
